Choosing colors and style.

If you had to choose a bedroom to have for your own, which would you choose?

Room #1: Warm colors, white bed frame, pastels, florals, soothing feeling

Room #2: Dark furniture, cozy, comfortable, elegant

Room #3: Blues, creams and tans/beiges, white/natural furniture, comfortable (edited to add: style would be *quite* different)

Photos are from the hotel I used to work at, The Chanler at Cliff Walk. These were my three favorite rooms. I *really* wish you could make the photos larger, but for some reason, they make them itty-bitty on their site. You'd *think* that at over $1,000 per night, they'd want the photos to be *at least* 6x6 on your screen. But I digress...

Thanks so much for your help! :-D

I vote for room number 3. We just bought a new house too - so we are choosing room colors and stuff as well :) Very fun!!

I'm feelin' room number 1! Very soothing palatte....very light..we are doing the same thing in our new house! It is overwhelming! Just tackle one thing at a time and "breathe"!!! Good Luck and see you at SC!

I think three is my fave for colors - but not style, but that's me. I do love the "freshness" of room number one and I may be changing my mind here as I type. I would not go dark in a bedroom unless there is a LOT of natural light coming into it. I just find dark too moody for a bedroom. I like my room to be light and airy and a place for sanctuary... a place for peace. But again, that's me...

Number 2 would be my last choice. I'm pretty equal on room #1 & #3, with a slight preference for #3... ;o)

If I were choosing for me, I would pick #1...calm and relaxing...if it involved my husband attending, he would want number 2 hands down.

# 3 - I love greens and browns and blues in a bedroom. I think a dk brown painted wall w/ a little more color on the comfortor and sheets

my vote is #1, too. we've done the "pretty and coordinated" look, and we've done the "warm and cozy" look. but to be perfectly honest, we painted the room two shades of white, got bedding in shades of white with a little light blue, put up white curtains over bamboo blinds, and a black dresser, and it is the most restful room we've ever had. there isn't anything too strong or overwhelming in it. The best thing is to figure out what it is that creates the "feeling" you want your room to have. we wanted calm and restful, so white works for us. (can't wait to see pix of your house!!)

Another #1 here.
I usually go for bolder colors, but of these three,
I am drawn to #1
Psst...your shorter hair looks adorable :)

none of these are exactly what I would pick, but I like #1 best!

#3 for me. I like #1 too, but it is so pristine that I'd feel afraid of dropping something and spoil the look.
