I think I could use either of these for a boy or a girl. This first one, though... as long as that flower fabric stays in small quantities. :-) The red and yellow would also stay in small quantities (especially red), since they are known to cause over-stimulation in infants, resulting in restlessness and prolonged crying. Isn't color science fascinating?! :-D

This second one is pretty much the color palette of our living room and bedroom. I just feel so cozy and serene in these colors!
Which one do you like best?

LOVE the first one. :) :)
Very pretty choices. I have to say that I enjoy a good pop of colour! So the first one gets my vote!
First--CONGRATULATIONS! What a great early Christmas present!
I went with soft neutral colors in the twins' nursery because I wanted them to feel relaxed and ready for sleep when I put them to bed. Bold colors (I felt) wouldn't do that. BUT, they are both absolutly *gorgeous* choices!! Can't wait to see what you decide to go with!!
(Oh, and by the way- its never too early to start planning for your baby--you never know when she's going to come!!! Mine were just about 7 weeks early, and I'd been harassing my husband to help me get their nursery done before they came. Well, they came, and we weren't done!! He and his mom finished things for me while I was in the hospital. Lesson learned!)
I like them both, but the second one is my favorite. So soothing and natural. :D
